Yangon United win 2-1 over Hantharady United

Yangon United earned victory 2-1 over Hantharwady United in week 8 of Myanmar National League 2022. Although the opponent led the match in the early minutes by Myo Zaw Oo, Htet Phyo Wai and Zaw Win Thein scored goals to earn three points.
Min Kyaw Khant and David Htan were back to the squad today. In 4 minutes, Kyaw Min Oo found a chance to score with an assist from Htet Phyo Wai but his effort went over the post. A minute later, Shin Thant Aung was sent off from the pitch due to a severe interception to Kyaw Min Oo. However, the opponent could lead the match in 9 minutes with a heading goal of Myo Zaw Oo. Then Htet Phyo Wai pulled back a goal for Yangon in 32 minutes when David Htan passed from the right side, and both teams ended level at the break.
In the second half, Maung Maung Win was replaced by Lamin Htwe to press and attack the opponent. In 47 and 64 minutes, Lamin Htwe got chances to score when Htet Phyo Wai paved the ball to him, but he could not turn it into a goal. In 67 minutes, Zaw Win Thein sealed the victory with his goal with an assist from David Htan. At the final whistle, Yangon United earned a 2-1 victory over Hantharwady United.
