Yangon United sign Nyi Nyi Aung from Ayeyawady United on two-year contract

We are delighted to announce the signing of Nyi Nyi Aung, a right winger from Ayeyawady United on a two-year contract.
The 5’ 9” tall Nyi Nyi Aung is 28 years old and born in Hmawbi Township, Yangon region. He is popular with the name “Robot” among his friends. Starting the football career at Dagon University as a selection, he was scouted for Yangon United in 2016. He played two years in U-20 and U-21 for Yangon United. Then he was selected in University selection again in 2018 and secured the the 2nd runner-up in Myanmar National League II.
Subsequently, he won the 1st runner-up with the following team in Nay Pyi Taw ASEAN University Games in 2018. Then he moved to Ayeyawady United in 2020 and played four consecutive years scoring 12 goals for the team. His skills and contributions have not gone unnoticed, as he earned a place on the provisional list of the Myanmar National Team in 2023.
