Yangon United women’s team secured a decisive 4-0 victory over Thitsar Arman women’s team today at Sa Lin stadium. The goals for Yangon were scored by Pan Ei Nwe, Nan Cho Hmwe, Yoon Wadi Hlaing, and Win Theingi Tun.
In the first half, Yangon took the lead with goals from Pan Ei Nwe at 39 minutes and Nan Cho Hmwe at 42 minutes. The second half saw a turning point when Thitsar Arman’s Win Win was sent off at 52 minutes, reducing her team to ten players. Just two minutes later, Yoon Wadi Hlaing extended Yangon’s lead. The final goal of the match came from Win Theingi Tun at 73 minutes, sealing the 4-0 victory.
This win places the Lionesses at the top of the table with 6 points after two matches. Their next match will be against the ISPE women’s team on 18th May at YUSC.
