Yangon United appoints Gerd Zeise as Head Coach

Yangon United is delighted to announce the appointment of Gerd Zeise as Head Coach until the end of the 2023 season for AFC Cup and Myanmar National League competitions.
He has proved himself as a successful coach in Myanmar and recorded his name with the Myanmar National U-20 Team bringing to the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup New Zealand.
Furthermore, he worked as a coach and technical director of clubs in Belgium and Germany. Besides, as a head coach, expanding his exposure to Asia, he handled Vietnam club Danang FC, and he made Maldives club New Radiant Club the league champions.
Hands-on experience with Myanmar Football, Gerd Zeise was a head coach of Myanmar National U-19, U-20, and U-23. He became the Head Coach of the Myanmar National Team in 2015 and coached for three years.

Head Coach Gerd Zeise will arrive in Myanmar in the first week of August, and U Tin Maung Tun will handle the match against Rakhine United as an interim Head Coach.
