The lions earn a victory over Kachin United with a goal of Sylla today at Thuwunna stadium as a week 3 match of the Myanmar National League.

Head Coach made some changes to the starting list. Phone Thitsar Min made his first appearance this season, and Zarni Htet, Habila, and Nyan Lin Htet showed up in the squad list. Till the 25 minutes of the match, Win Naing Tun, Sylla, and Hein Zeyar Lin possessed some chance to open a goal, however, the opponent’s keeper saved it. In 26 minutes, the lads could open a leading goal when David Htan paved the way to Sylla, and Sylla’s double attempt turned it into the goal of the match. The lads kept attempting to add more goals, but the lads couldn’t make a goal and kept 1-0 ahead of Kachin United at the break.
After the restart, Sylla, Zarni Htet, Win Naing Tun, and Hlaing Bo Bo were replaced by Lamin Htwe, Okkar Naing, Sa Aung Pyae Ko, and Yan Kyaw Soe. The lads tried to find more goals, and the opponent’s keeper saved it well till the last minutes. At last, Yangon United got the only goal to earn three points beating Kachin United.

Yangon United keeps leading the table after three matches played and earns 9 points, and coming March 11th, the lads will face Dragon Star United ‌at Thuwunna stadium.
