Lions beat Silver Stars 7-0 in the friendly match
The Lions secured a convincing 7-0 victory over Myanmar National League II club Silver Stars in a friendly match held this morning at the Yangon United Sports Complex. The match saw local players dominating the first half, showcasing their skills and determination.
Yan Kyaw Htwe initiated the scoring early in the 13th minute with an opening goal, followed closely by Thar Yar Win Htet capitalizing on the rebound from a shot by Hein Zeyar Min to add another goals. Six minutes later, Hein Zeyar Min himself doubled the lead for the Lions. Kyaw Phyo Wai joined the scoring frenzy in the 25th minute, assisted by Yan Kyaw Htwe, and followed closely by Aung Myo Khant finding the back of the net, sealing the first half with a commanding 4-0 lead for the Lions.
In the second half, the Lions made substitutions, introducing foreign players Gideon Tetteh, Sanogo, and Abubarkar, to maintain their dominance. Thar Yar Win Htet extended the lead in the 62nd minute, followed by Sanogo’s goal in the 81st minute, and Yan Kyaw Htwe sealed the victory with his second goal in the 86th minute, concluding the match with an impressive 7-0 triumph over Silver Stars.
