Yangon United sings Myanmar National U-20 player Okkar Naing until 2024
We are pleased to announce that Myanmar National U-20 left winger Okkar Naing has signed a two-year contract with Yangon United.
5 feet 7 inches tall winger Okkar Naing was brought up in Thanatpin township, Bago region. He was nurtured at Nay Pyi Taw academy and Zwekapin United Academy. His professional career began with Magwe (U-19) for two years. Then he has been scouted by Junior Lions to play in Myanmar National Youth Competition. Looking into his international career, he had been chosen for Myanmar National U-19 and participated in AFF U-19 Championship, the 2023 AFC U-20 Asian Cup Qualification, and Vietnam International U-21 Thanh Nien Newspaper Cup 2022.
Okkar Naing expressed his feeling about this signing, “I am thrilled to be here. It is incredible to play for my dream team. And some of my teammates from Junior Lions are already here and we know each other well and how we work on the pitch. I intend to hold the champion title with the team, and show my skills in the AFC competition as well.”
