Yangon United hammered Mahar United 3-0
Yangon United earned three points in the week-10 of Myanmar National League 2022 beating Marhar United with 0-3. Goals for Yangon were found by Win Naing Tun, Sa Aung Pyae Ko and Yan Paing Soe.
In today’s squad, Phone Thitsar Min (GK), Kyaw Min Oo recovered from the injury, Win Naing Tun, and Zarni Htet appeared on the starting list. In 10 minutes of the first half, Zarni Htet made an assist to Junior who was ready to hit the net. But Junior’s effort was spilled out from the net, and Win Naing Tun took that chance to score. However, Win Naing Tun’s drive hit the goalpost. Both teams could not bring a single goal till the break.
After the restart, Yangon opened a leading goal in 57 minutes, and Win Naing Tun scored his first goal for the team with an assist from Htet Phyo Wai. Then the coach made changes with Maung Maung Win, Yan Kyaw Soe, Sa Aung Pyae Ko, Yan Paing Soe and Nyan Lin Htet in the place of Kyaw Min Oo, Win Naing Tun, Zarni Htet, Htet Phyo Wai, Min Kyaw Khant. In additional time, substitute Yan Paing Soe sealed the win with his goal when Yan Kyaw Soe passed the ball. At the final whistle, Yangon United hammered Mahar United with 0-3 to earn three points.

Yangon United earned 22 points placing in second place after 10 matches played, 7 wins, 1 draw, and 2 losses. On September 10th, the lads will face Shan United at Thuwunna stadium.
