Yangon United FC supports humanitarian aids to Bago flood victims
Yangon United football club contributed 5,000,000 Kyats to flood victim communities in Bago county, Bago Region at a celebration in Buddha Sound Dhamma Shrine on August 17th. U Tay Za, owner of Yangon United FC donated 8,000,000 Kyats, marking 80th birthday of his mother and Htoo Trading Co., Ltd. did 5,000,000 Kyats.
General Manager of Yangon United Kyaw Htwe and players, Naing Zeyar Tun and Kyi Lynn attended at celebration of contribution and head of Bago county administration Ye Htut received.
This donation followed previous event on August 13th when charity group including Yangon FC players and fans went to donate at Tha Nat Pin township, Bago county.
Yangon United delivered relief including money to victim families from disaster-hit regions Bago, Tha Nak Pin, Ka Wa, Wor township.
Torrential rain hit Myanmar late July and early August, flood occurred across the nation, let more than 25000 people and more than 5000 families suffer disaster, 120000 acres of fields was damaged in deluge, according to officials.
