Yangon United women’s team secured a resounding 4-0 triumph over their counterparts from Shan United today at the Yangon United Sports Complex.
Yangon United demonstrated their tactical prowess, swiftly finding the back of the net twice in the first half. The goals were found by Yoon Wadi Hlaing and Zin Moe Pyae to lead the first half.
Despite Shan United’s attempts to mount a comeback in the second half with strategic adjustments, they were unable to breach Yangon United’s defense. The third goal came from the penalty spot, expertly converted by Win Theingi Tun, further solidifying Yangon United’s dominance. Just three minutes later, Swe Mar Aung put the game out of reach with a fourth goal, leaving no doubt about the outcome.
