Yangon United women’s team faced a 2-0 defeat against ISPE women’s team. Shwe Yee Tun and Lin Myint Mo were the goal scorers for ISPE.
Both teams were in a hard-fought battle to score, but it was Shwe Yee Tun who broke the deadlock with a goal just before halftime.
In the second half, the Lionesses made efforts to equalize but were unsuccessful. ISPE secured their victory with an additional goal by Lin Myint Mo in the 81st minute.
Despite the loss, Yangon United stand in second place with 6 points from their 3 matches played. Their next game is scheduled for May 30th against YREO FC at Sa Lin Stadium.
