Yangon United Women Team has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first-round champions of the Myanmar Women’s League. They secured their top spot after defeating the Ayeyawady Women Team 2-0 at the Yangon United Sports Complex.

Yangon United dominated the match from the outset, with Yoon Wadi Hlaing scoring the first goal in the first half, showcasing her consistent performance throughout the league.

The second half saw both teams battling intensely, but Yangon United solidified their lead with a beautifully executed goal by Aye Aye Htwe in the 78th minute from the edge of the goal area. This victory crowns Yangon United as the first-round champions of the Myanmar Women’s League 2024.
