Yangon United Women Secure 2-0 Victory Over Shan United Women
This evening at 3 PM, Yangon United’s women’s team clinched a 2-0 win against Shan United women team at Padonamar Stadium.
Yangon United took an early lead in the 3rd minute, thanks to a goal from Yoon Wadi Hlaing, assisted by Nan Cho Hmwe. Just two minutes later, Zin Moe Pyae extended the lead with a goal set up by Yoon Wadi Hlaing, ensuring Yangon United led 2-0 at halftime.
In the second half, Yangon United maintained their strong performance, with goalkeeper Phee Bay making crucial saves to deny Shan United any chance to score. Despite both teams’ efforts to find the back of the net, no further goals were scored before the final whistle.
With this win, Yangon United has accumulated 29 points from 14 matches, featuring 8 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses. They will next face Thitsar Arman women team on September 18th at Salin Stadium.
