Yangon United suffered a narrow defeat to Shan United, losing 1-0 in the final match of the MNL League Cup 2024 at Thuwunna Stadium

The only goal of the match was scored by Ye Yint Aung, securing the victory for Shan United. Despite making tactical changes in the second half, Yangon United was unable to find an equalizer.
Reflecting on the game, Yangon United’s Head Coach Frank Bernhard commented, “I think we gave the first half completely away and we were too weak before. In the second half, there was a little bit better and we didn’t get too many chances.”
