We are delighted to announce the signing of Frank Bernhardt as the new head coach of Yangon United for 2024-2025 season

The German got with a diverse range of experiences in various football federations and clubs as a Head Coach and Technical Director in the Estonian Football Federation, Azerbaijan Football Federation, and Malaysia Football Federation. Furthermore, he was involved with the Real Madrid Scouting Program. The last club he managed as Head Coach was in Malaysia Super League Club Kelantan.
His background started with developing youth international teams, and his professional playing experience in the Bundesliga clubs – Werder Bremen, and Holstein Keil will surely bring a valuable perspective to Yangon United.
The newly appointed head coach expressed, “I am really happy to join Yangon United a team with a big history and a lot of potential. We have to get together with the team staff, management, and all fans. To get the best out of the team. I know that the cup and the league title are our targets, but for this, we need serious work with a high willingness to give absolutely everything. We have to look from game to game and never underestimate any opponent. I want to develop the team with all staff to have the chance to reach our targets.”
The head coach will join the squad in the upcoming week, and the squad will continue their training along with assistant coaches.
