The match between Mahar United and Yangon United ended in a 2-2 draw.
In today’s Myanmar National League match, Mahar united and Yangon United faced off at the Thuwunna Stadium, with the match ending in a 2-2 draw.
In the first half, Yangon United put up a strong fight to secure a goal, but despite their efforts, they couldn’t score. In extra time at the end of the first half, a cross from Uka Naing was blocked by Yangon United’s goalkeeper, Yan Kyaw Htwe, but the ball narrowly missed the goal, and the first half ended without a goal.
In the second half, Yangon United made some tactical changes and continued to press for a goal. They took the lead in the 57th minute through a goal by Wai Lin Aung, following a well-delivered corner. After taking the lead, Yangon United continued to dominate the game, and in the 69th minute, a cross from Lakkar Naing was converted by Kaung Si Thu for their second goal.
For Mahar United, they scored two goals to equalize, with the first coming in the 83rd minute and the second in injury time at the 90th minute, scored by Thet Naing. The match ended in a 2-2 draw.
After 15 matches, Yangon United has won 10, drawn 5, and accumulated 35 points. Their next match will be against Shan United on January 18, at home.
