In today’s Myanmar National League Youth match, Yangon United (U-20) faced Hantharwady United (U-20) at Padonmar stadium and emerged victorious with a 4-0 scorelines.
In the first half, the opening goal for Yangon United youth came in the 19th minute, when Arr Yhwe scored from a pass by Htet Wai Yan Soe. Later, in the 41st minute, Kaung Khant Kyaw scored a second leading goal for Yangon after the opposing goalkeeper made a mistake while attempting to clear the ball.
In the second half, Yangon youth continued to press, and in the 70th and 83rd minutes, Sai Zayar Kyaw, a striker, scored two goals. The first came from a free-kick, and the second was a mistake from the opposing defense.
Yangon United (U-20) played 24 matches, winning 12, drawing 4, and losing 8, earning a total of 40 points. They finished in 5th place at the end of the 2024 season.
