Yangon United (U-20) lost 2-1 to Shan United (U-20) this evening at Salin Stadium.
Myo Min Khant opened the scoring for Shan in the 13th minute. Despite an early setback, Yangon fought back, with Kaung Khant Kyaw leveling the match in the 39th minute, assisted by Sai Zayar Kyaw.
In the second half, Shan regained the lead through Han Thu Zaw’s goal. Yangon United pushed hard for an equalizer, with Sai Zayar Kyaw making a strong effort in the closing moments, but the team couldn’t find the back of the net, resulting in a narrow defeat.
With 18 matches played, Yangon United (U-20) now holds 30 points from 9 wins, 3 draws, and 6 losses. They will look to bounce back in their next match against Yadanarbon (U-20) on November 6th at Salin Stadium.
