Yangon United share points with visitor Ayeyawady in 1-1 draw
Both teams fought hard to find an early breakthrough. Daisy Aung came close for Yangon United with a shot from 18 yards, but her effort struck the bar, denying them the lead. In the 34th minute, San Thaw Thaw put Ayeyawady ahead with a well-placed finish.
In the second half, Yangon United made key substitutions, bringing on Pan Ei Nwe and Mya Hnin Wai for Daisy Aung and Yamin Phyu. The change paid off, as Phyu Phwe equalized with a brilliant free-kick just six minutes after the restart. Despite both sides pushing for a winner, the match ended 1-1.
Yangon United now stands at second place with 33 points from 15 matches, 10 wins, 3 draws, and 2 losses. Their next match is scheduled for October 2nd against YREO at Yangon United Sports Complex.
