Yangon United Women Draw 2-2 with Myawady Women
Yangon United Women drew 2-2 with Myawady Women today at Yangon United Sports Complex.
The match experienced a 15-minute delay due to heavy rain, and both teams initially struggled to find the back of the net. Myawady took the lead in the 17th minute when Yu Par Khaing scored from a corner kick. Yangon United equalized in the 33rd minute after Myawady’s defender fouled Win Theingi Tun in the penalty area. Win Theingi Tun converted the penalty to level the score.
As the weather improved, both teams pressed for goals. In the 61st minute, Yangon United’s Yu Yu Naing scored with a header from a corner kick. However, Myawady managed to equalize in additional time when Phyu Phyu Win scored from a foul.
Yangon United Women remain at the top of the table, holding a 2-point lead over second-placed ISPE. They will face ISPE on August 2nd at Salin Stadium.
