Yangon United lead table with dominant win against Myawady
Yangon United surged to a commanding 5-0 victory over Myawady, solidifying their position at the top of the Myanmar National League table at Yangon United Sports Complex.
Once the whistle blew, the lads strove for the goals and found their leading goal in 10 minutes by La Min Htwe. Yangon United continued to press forward aggressively, doubling their lead shortly after with Yan Naing Oo capitalizing on a rebound from Zaw Win Thein’s shot. As the first half drew to a close, La Min Htwe struck again, securing his brace and sending Yangon United into halftime with a commanding 3-0 lead.
After the break, Yangon United maintained their momentum, with Hlaing Bo Bo adding to their tally in the 52nd minute with a stunning strike. In today’s match, the young lads showcased their superb performance to bring the team to the victory. In 83 minutes, when Oakkar Naing headed in a corner kick from Yan Naing Oo, sealing the 5-0 victory. The victory made the team lead the Myanmar National League table after week-2 match with goal difference.
