The squad came out with a 4-3-3 formation, and just a minute later, Sylla got a chance to open a goal, but the keeper saved it. In 13 minutes, Rakhine opened a leading goal by Traore from a free kick. Then 10 minutes later, Zaw Win Thein pulled back a goal from a free kick. Yangon kept pressing to find a goal and in 35 minutes, Yan Kyaw Soe drove to the net where the opponent’s keeper was ready to save it and the match drew 1-1 at the break.
In the second half, Yangon attempted to gear up the attack, and in 56 minutes, Zarni Htet was replaced by Okkar Naing. In 67 minutes, Win Naing Tun met a free kick from Zaw Win Thein to head to the net, but it went over the post.
