Yangon United draw 1-1 with Dagon Port in friendly match
Yangon United played a friendly match against Dagon Port today, ending in a 1-1 draw.
The purpose of this match was to prepare for the upcoming Myanmar National League 2024-25 season. The match featured young players, with each half lasting 45 minutes.
The opening goal for Yangon United came in the 36th minute, scored by Oakkar Naing from a cross by Zaw Win Thein. However, Dagon Port managed to equalize in the 65th minute, with Ye Win Hlaing finding the back of the net.
In the 70th minute, Yangon United made substitutions, replacing Oakkar Naing and La Min Htwe with Saw Aung Myo Tun and Kaung Sithu. Later, in the 82nd minute, Thurein Soe was substituted by Aung Zaya. Despite pressing for a winning goal, Yangon United were unable to capitalize further, resulting in a final score of 1-1.
Yangon United’s first match of the season will be against Rakhine United, scheduled to take place at YUSC on July 6th.
