Yangon United conquers title of half season beating Chin United
Yangon United hammered Chin United with 3-2 with the goals of Kyaw Ko Ko and Emeka while opponent responded with the goals of Kofi and Bi Bi.
Lions now hold the title of half season after playing the last match of first round and Yangon United Coach U Myo Min Tun said “Today our play paid a few attentions to the match as they are looking forward to the holiday. So they gave hardly back to action. And now we are title holder of half season, my happiness goes beyond measure but we need to put efforts for Champion title at the end of the season,”.
Lions could press on the opponent through the play time. The first leading goal opened by Kyaw Ko Ko’s direct corner kick to the net in 11 minutes. Continuously the second leading goal came with Emeka while Zon Moe Aung closely pave to him in 20 minutes. But opponent awarded a penalty and responded a goal in 34 minutes by Kofi. Lions had got a lot to score and in 60 minutes Kyaw Ko Ko drive to the net from 18 yards for third leading goal. Then opponent made attacking and in 67 minutes Bi Bi responded a second goal for Chin closely. But at the final whistle Yangon United won over Chin United with 3-2 and Yangon earns 31 points from 11 plays, 10 win, 1 draw holding title of half season.
In May 7th Yangon United will play against Ayeyawady United at Pathein stadium as first match of second round.
