Lions make 3 consecutive win over host Nay Pyi Taw with 3-1

  Lions grasp 3 points beating the host Nay Pyi Taw FC with the goals of Kyaw Ko Ko for 2 and a goal of Zaw Min Tun while Bamba from Nay Pyi Taw FC responded a goal in the match of Myanmar National League 2017.

Yangon United’s squad started with Kyaw Zin Htet (GK), David Htan, Moukailou, Zaw Min Tun, Khin Maung Lwin, Yan Aung Kyaw, Kyaw Htoo, Kyaw Ko Ko, Emerson, Zon Moe Aung and Emeka. And the opponent started the match with Aung Wai Phyo (GK), Wai Phyo, Moe Win, Chan Chan, Bamba, Htet Zaw Tun, Thant Zin Oo, Zan Bo Tun, Ibrahim, Salif and Kyaw Kyaw Htet.

Yangon United had a chance to score but unfortunately failed to score. In 11 minutes Kyaw Ko Ko opened a leading goal and continuously in 15 minutes Kyaw Ko Ko netted again with the assist of Emeka’s passing. Then Nay Pyi Taw responded a goal by Bamba in 47 minutes while facing with Yangon keeper one by one. The last goal was sealed by Zaw Min Tun who headed to the net once Kyaw Ko Ko’s long pass reached him from corner advantage. At the final whistle Yangon holds 3 consecutive win beating over Nay Pyi Taw with the result of 3-1.

U Myo Min Tun, coach of Yangon United said, “I’m very glad to earn points that could stand at the top of the table till now. But I’m sorry for not keeping clean sheet else. And thanks my lads bring victory not only for club owner and chairman but also for the hard-core fans.”

Yangon United earns 13 points from 5 matches, 4 win and draw leading the standing table. Coming February 19th Yangon United will play against GFA FC at Thuwunna stadium.
